From January 8 to 17, 2025, the Faculty of Physics of the University of Warsaw will host more lecturers from the KEPCO International Nuclear Graduate School (KINGS). They will give lectures on small modular reactors (SMRs), among other topics. The classes are being held as part of the Nuclear Collaboration Center (NCC).

The NCC, a nuclear power training center was established at the UW Faculty of Physics UW, in cooperation with the Faculty of Oriental Studies UW and the Faculty of Chemistry UW, two South Korean universities KEPCO International Nuclear Graduate School (KINGS) and Pusan National University (PNU), and the Korea Nuclear Association for International Cooperation (KNA). As part of the center's work, Prof. Ki-sig Kang, a lecturer at KEPCO International Nuclear Graduate School (KINGS) with more than 35 years of experience in the field of nuclear power plant construction, has been teaching at our Faculty for the past three months.

From January 8 to 17, 2025, the UW Faculty of Physics will host the following KINGS lecturers: Prof. Keung Koo Kim, Prof. Joo-il Yoon, and Prof. Chang Joo Hah.

Prof. Keung Koo Kim, a recognized specialist in small modular reactors (SMRs), will give a lecture on selected nuclear power issues.
