The fifth lecture will present various safety standards.

Codes and standards (C&S) form the foundation of engineering by ensuring safety, reliability, and environmental protection in designs and operations of nuclear power plants. They support government policies and legislation, often referenced by regulators, while enabling interoperability as a common language for manufacturers, and operators. Businesses benefit through reduced costs from standardized procedures and simplified training. The lecture will provide the benefits and advantages of the CS.
