The group of students attending the lecture was divided into six groups, with each group working under the supervision of Prof. Ki Sig Kang from KINGS. Each group developed a project related to the topics discussed during the lectures Introduction to Nuclear Power.
Groups number 2, 3 and 6 will be presenting their projects.

- Group 3: Nuclear Codes and Standards
- Group 6: Developing an Effective Human Resource Management in NPPs
Project summary:
The lecture series Introduction to Nuclear Power started in October 2024 and it took 15 hours (3 hours weekly for 5 weeks). Total number of 62 students was enrolled in the course.
Students expressed their satisfaction and appreciation for the lecture method, education materials, an opportunity for gaining international experience and listening to field-oriented lectures. Team projects were supposed to review on each topic of the series.
The group of students was divided into 6 teams, having 20 minutes of presentation and 10 minutes of Q&A per team. Group topics were as follows:
- Group 1: Global NPP market review
- Group 2: Licensing basis and regulatory process
- Group 3: Nuclear codes and standards
- Group 4: Nuclear design principles
- Group 5: Key success factors of new nuclear construction
- Group 6: Developing an effective human resource management in NPPs
Each team's review and presentation materials were collected into a single report, uploaded on the NCC website, and sent to the attending students.
During the discussion, the following issues were raised:
- Cultivating the Polish Regulatory Agency (PAA)'s ability to review the licensing process, the state's policy to cultivate manpower, appropriate manpower distribution for the construction of nuclear power plants, and training of technical personnel for nuclear power plant construction
- Method of safety analysis report review, design review procedure and process to verify the safety of nuclear power plants
