On March 23rd-29th 2024, Distinguished Korean Guests and UW Professors gathered in Warsaw to discuss establishment of the Polish NCC (Nuclear Collaboration Center).
Korean delegation included such participants as: KINGS President Ki-pung Yoo, Professor Keung-koo Kim, Professor Ki-sig Kang from KINGS, Vice Chairman Min-cheol Lee from KNA, as well as Director Cheol-sung Cho, Manager Hana Kim, Assistant Manager Joo-won Kim and Researcher Eun-young Kim, also from KINGS.
The visit started with a discussion at the University of Warsaw. Later on, the delegation met with the director of PAA (Polish Atomic Agency) and with local institutions working with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Poland, they also went to the PGE (Polish Energy Group) headquarters. At the end of the visit, KINGS delegation was able to meet KINGS alumni from UW.
