This seminar includes a wide range of subjects explaining Structures, Systems and Components (SSCs) of PWR, Understanding Design Basis Accidents and Design Extension Conditions accidents, and safety conferences. In particular, to help understand accidents and safety systems of nuclear power plants, a PC-based PWR simulator will be used to enhance understanding of design basis accidents and extended design condition accidents, and to conduct group projects to increase student participation. The lecturer will also introduce engineering support using simulators, which has recently attracted increasing interest.
