This seminar provides a structured overview of pressurized water reactor (PWR) Structures, Systems, and Components (SSCs), with a focus on Design Basis Accidents (DBAs), Design Extension Conditions (DECs), and associated safety concepts. To strengthen practical understanding of accident progression and safety system responses, a PC-based PWR simulator will be used for hands-on exercises and team-based projects that promote active participation. The seminar will also introduce simulation-assisted engineering, an area of growing interest for plant engineering support.
